In a time back before the digital age had begun, most people had turned to gaming magazines for any news, guides, tips, reviews and previews. While some of the older magazines might be harder to find in this day and age, fans of Nintendo Power can now rest easy knowing that 13 years worth of issues are available online.

Fans can now take a look at issue number one of Nintendo Power with its Mario claymation cover, which was released in July of 1988. The last one in the archive is of issue 145 which was released in June of 2001, meaning that not all of Nintendo Power is online. The magazine ran for 28 years and had released 285 volumes with the last being released on Dec. 11, 2012. While starting off as an in-house publication for Nintendo, the magazine ran independently of the company for its last few years.
It is not currently known if the rest of Nintendo Power will make its way online and if it will be the rest or just a select few. Either way, fans can take a look back at the past and either share it with a younger generation or use it to see how far gaming journalism has come.
