Yu Gi Oh Duel Links – How to Unlock Tea Gardner’s Deck

When you start out in Yu Gi Oh Duel Links, you will only have access to one of two decks and will have to work your way up to earning them. In order to obtain different decks full of rare cards, users will need to defeat their trainer and complete the specific “Legendary Duelist” requirements listed within the Missions menu in the top left corner of your screen. Tea Gardner’s is one of the earliest decks you will come across and can be obtained once a player hits Mission Level 6 and has already defeated Tea once in a duel. Once these pre-requisites are met, you’ll be prompted to duel her once more at the Gate. However, she will now be at level 20.

Battling this upgraded Tea Gardner isn’t that difficult in Yu Gi Oh Duel Links, but she does have a few nasty tricks up her sleeve if she manages to pull the right combo of cards together. One of her favorite moves is playing a face down card early on, which will allow her to draw a card when flipped and destroyed. She has a good amount of digging that can be done with her deck, so try to be hyper aggressive from the start. We found that any monsters with attack 1,200+ were relatively safe from harm, but make sure to set a few traps just in case. After you defeat Tea, you’ll then need to complete the other Yu Gi Oh Duel Links mission which is “Activate 5 Spell/Trap Cards” across several duels.

This is by far the easiest aspect of the obtaining her deck, as you can simply pick a low-level trainer and stall the match out until you’ve exhausted five spells or traps. After you complete this mission, you’ll be rewarded with a substantial amount of coins via the Mission menu and be prompted to obtain Tea Gardner as your new Yu Gi Oh Duel Links trainer. Remember, you can have multiple trainers, so don’t worry about losing Kaiba or Yugi when you obtain her.Unlocking Tea will then give you access to her deck, which is full of Light based monsters with her ultra rare card being The Dark Magician Girl. The other important thing to note is that if you have no desire to play as Tea in Yu Gi Oh Duel Links, then you can simply strip her deck of cards and put the best ones in your main deck. This is an especially good idea if you plan on taking the fight online as you’ll only want the best cards to choose from. With a little luck and the heart of the cards you should be able to obtain this deck with little trouble.
