Here’s what you need to know about how to get Landmark Tokens in Spider-Man PS4.

Spider-Man for the PS4 promises to continue Spidey games’ tradition of having a ton of stuff to do around the city. Insomniac’s Manhattan has really upped the ante this time, too! Some of the stuff you’ll accomplish will give you tokens that can be used to upgrade your suits, abilities, or gadgets.

Landmark Tokens are one such collectible, and they’re needed right off the bat.

Continue on with the main story for a bit and you’ll need to do a bunch of scientific stuff to enable Spider-Man to remap his suit. Anyway, once you’re at this point, you’ll have access to your camera and you’ll need to take pictures of landmarks around the city.

These can be fictional from the Marvel universe or real-world landmarks. There are a bunch all around, though, and it’s a good thing that it’s easy to take snapshots while swinging. It’s these that you’ll need to pay particular attention to in order to get Landmark Tokens in Spider-Man PS4.

Simply press Up on the d-pad, hold L2, and Spider-Man will take a snap of whatever you need to by pressing R1. You need to make sure the cross-hairs turn green, though. Otherwise, it’s not a good enough photo, or it’s not within the center of the frame.

By taking a photo of one of these landmarks, marked by a skyscraper building icon on your map (see the image above), you’ll earn yourself one Landmark Token. You can find landmarks easily in Spider-Man PS4 by using the police radio towers to uncover all places of importance on your map. Simple!

Note, by the way, that the pictures don’t need to be perfect at all. This isn’t Pokemon Snap. Just take the photo when the reticule’s green and you’ll be good to go. Finally, a quick recap:

  • Use Police Radio Towers to unearth the various landmark icons on your map.
  • Head to these locations and press Up on the d-pad.
  • Press and hold L2 and ensure the reticle turns green.
  • Press R1 to take the photo and you’ll have gotten yourself a Landmark Token in Spider-Man PS4.
