Rainbow Six Extraction has arrived and if you’re looking for something a little bit different than the usual Siege affair, but still want to play with some of your favorite operators, well then you’re probably pumped to get started. If you’re here, though, you’re probably in the middle of an incursion and you’re wondering how to save in Rainbow Six Extraction? Here’s everything you need to know on that front and whether or not you can create manual saves as well.
How to Save in Rainbow Six Extraction
Let’s cut right to the chase. Obviously, progress is saved in Rainbow Six Extraction to some extent. Whenever you complete a mission the game will autosave for you and lock in your progress. However, there are a few restrictions to be aware of.
First, you cannot manually save at all in Rainbow Six Extraction. There is no way to create custom restore points for you to access either before, after, or during any Incursion.
Speaking of Incursions, you cannot save during an Incursion either. Either you succeed in fulfilling all or some of your objectives and return to the main menu with some progress, or you completely fail and return that way. There’s no autosaving or manual restore point creating of any kind while you’re in the middle of an Incursion.
You will need to exfil if you want in order to lock in your XP gains, level up your character, and achieve some level of success. You’ll need to head to one of the exfil locations on the map, marked with a chopper icon on your HUD. Otherwise, you’re out of luck.
