Best Nature for Dragonite in Pokemon Let’s Go

Pokemon Let’s Go reimagines the iconic Pokemon Yellow in a gorgeous new aesthetic. But it also streamlines a bunch of gameplay mechanics and even adds new ones too, such as natures. Here’s the best nature for Dragonite in Pokemon Let’s Go.

Yep, if you don’t remember natures from the original Red/Blue/Yellow series then you’re not going mad. They weren’t added to the franchise until Generation 3 (Sapphire/Ruby).

In case you aren’t familiar, natures can increase specific statistics of your Pokemon, so they play a pretty important role in Let’s Go. You can only have one nature assigned to each Pokemon, and there are a total of 25.

As for their effect, they increase a certain stat by 10% while decreasing another by the same value. So there’s a bit of strategy as to which is the best for taking advantage of a certain Pokemon’s best attributes.

In the case of Dragonite, using the Adamant turns this already powerful Pokemon’s attack into something even more weighty. It gives an increase to the damage of its attack but slightly reduces its special attack.

Alternatively, you could use the Modest nature if you prefer to build your Dragonite around the special attack — though we would definitely recommend Adamant.

For those that are interested in speed over power, the Jolly nature increases your speed stat and decreases special attack. Again, though, our preference for Dragonite is Adamant.

That’s all the information you should need about what the best nature for Dragonite is in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee. For more useful guides on the game, check out our wiki page.
