How to Get Yoshitsune in Persona 5

Recommended Videos

Yoshitsune is a powerful Tower Persona that you can get pretty late on in Persona 5. While you’ll fuse it in the Velvet Room just as you would any other Persona, you’ll first need to meet a few prerequisites. Here’s how to get Yoshitsune in Persona 5.

In order to get your hands on this Genpei War vet, you’ll first need to make sure you’re either level 92 or that your Strength is at rank 10. While it’s possible to fuse Yoshitsune at level 5, being level 10 will allow you to pay to summon Personas that are at a higher level than Joker. You’ll also need to ensure that you’ve maxed out your social link with Morgana, as one of the Persona required to get Yoshitsune, Futsunushi, is only unlocked at rank 10.

Once you’ve done this, you’ll need to get your hands on the following Persona:

  • Arahabaki
  • Shiki-Ouji
  • Yatagarasu
  • Futsunushi
  • Okuninushi

Exactly how you get these Persona is down to you, but note there are benefits to fusing them from lesser Persona and so on. Essentially, you can mix and match lesser Persona with handy passive traits and ensure these are passed on and present on your Yoshitsune. If you do it right, you can end up with a Persona invulnerable to a ton of the damage that Persona 5’s enemies will try and throw at you.

With the above five Persona in your possession, simply head to the Velvet Room and select the Advanced Fusion option to create Yoshitsune. Congratulations, you’ve finally got yourself the powerful Tower Persona. Be sure to check our wiki for more tips, tricks, and information.
