How to Get Time Krystals & What They Do in Mortal Kombat 11

Time Krystals are a brand new currency introduced in Mortal Kombat 11, and although using them is totally optional, if you’re wanting to speed things up you might want a few.

Time Krystals can be gained two different ways, the first of which is simply playing the game. You’ll be rewarded with a few of these by leveling up, completing challenges, using the Krypt, and more.

It should be said, however, that the number of Krystals you earn in-game is pretty low, and you won’t be getting tons of them.

You do always have the option of purchasing more through the store of your respective system, for some cold hard cash, of course. Here’s how the pricing for Time Krystals pan out:

  • 500 – $4.99
  • 1150 – $9.99
  • 2500 – $19.99
  • 5600 – $39.99

What They’re Used For

Time Krystals are used to expedite the unlocking process, if you want to. They’re mainly used to unlock cosmetic items like new skins and taunts, but they can also be used to unlock gear and the like. The cost is pretty steep with a skin typically costing around 500 Krystals.

Keep in mind, of course, that anything and everything can be earned through playing the game, it’s just that you’ll probably be grinding for a good while.

That’s everything you need to know about how to get Time Krystals and what they do in Mortal Kombat 11. For even more tips, tricks, and info make sure to search Twinfinite, or check out our ever-expanding Mortal Kombat 11 guide wiki.
