How to Crouch in Metal Gear Survive

Recommended Videos

With the threat of being torn to sheds constantly looming overhead as you plan out a means to continue breathing in Metal Gear Survive, having a good grasp of the game’s controls and how to move around effectively is key. It could mean the difference between life or death, especially when a zombie onslaught is knocking on your doorstep. Luckily, learning how to crouch is easy.

Crouching does slow you down a little in Metal Gear Survive, though is still useful to memorize in case you find yourself cornered with nothing but a low ledge separating you from the rest of you life. To crouch, simply press the Circle or B button on your controller. If you’re standing upright, your character will move into the crouching position you desire.

It’s useful to point out that after the crouch position, players can enter a crawling stance by pressing the circle or B button on their controller once more. To stand upright again, all you need to do is press this button yet again. Pretty simple, right?

Again, be sure to avoid this button in the midst of shooting or hand-to-hand combat, as it will do nothing but impede your attack on whatever horde you’re up against in Metal Gear Survive. Keeping your thumb slightly above or away from the button pad is the way to go.
