Is Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Coming to PS4?
Fans have been begging for a new Marvel Ultimate Alliance ever since the second game released in 2009, and now that wish is finally coming true in 2019. With the announcement of a new game, many players will probably be asking is Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 coming to PS4?
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order was announced at The Game Awards 2018, as a Nintendo Switch exclusive. As it turns out Nintendo is actually producing the game themselves, which is in turn why it’s exclusive on the Switch. The same thing happened with Platinum Games’ Bayonetta 2 back on the Wii U.
Because of this, at the moment it seems that Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 is only coming to Nintendo’s handheld-hybrid, but of course, that could change sometime in the future. We’ve certainly seen instances in the past where games that have been console exclusive, make their way to other systems, like the original Mass Effect or Dead Rising 4.
However, the PS4’s recent exclusive of Spider-Man could indicate that Marvel Games is focusing on bringing exclusives and forging deals with big publishers. The other big Marvel game in the works right now is Square Enix’s Avengers Project, which we’ve heard very little of since its announcement in January 2017.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order features quite a few playable characters not seen in previous games, like The Guardians of the Galaxy, Crystal, and Lockjaw. The roster is heavily inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but unfortunately, we don’t know the exact details of the story or setting yet.
That’s everything you need to know about if Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 is coming to PS4. For even more on the game, and all things Marvel, make sure to search Twinfinite.
