How to Get Port-a-Forts in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3

When it says fort, it means fort.

It turns out two challenges this week require finding and using a Port-a-Fort. They are a handy little grenade that instead of exploding, give you some cover. Here’s how to get Port-a-Forts and what they do in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3.

Finding Port-a-Forts in Fortnite

This week you have to collect a Port-a-Fort and a Ripsaw Launcher for one challenge. The other requires doing damage to an opponent within 30 seconds of using a Port-a-Fort.

The good news is that you don’t have to do anything special to get a Port-a-Fort. Though, they are somewhat random finds. Your best bet for getting your hands on one will be opening chests. While it is possible to find a Port-a-Fort on the ground, it is unlikely.

What Does a Port-a-Fort Do?

As mentioned, a Port-a-Fort is a handy grenade that explodes into a building/fort. However, it doesn’t just drop you a few walls. No, it’s an actual building made of metal for extra defense. The ground floor is also covered in tires so that you can easily jump to the upper part and build out from there.
