How Long House of Ashes Takes to Beat

House of Ashes follows a very similar formula as the last two games. They are designed to be beatable in one or two play sessions, with the developers likely envisioning you playing with a couple of friends, taking turns, and seeing which characters survive the experience.

Your first playthrough of House of Ashes will take you roughly four to six hours, whether you’re playing on your own, or in the Don’t Play Alone co-op modes.

This number comes from the fact that when you don’t have a clear idea of where all the objectives are, what you need to do, and where the collectibles are, it’s going to take a bit longer to navigate through the game and complete the story.

If you’re going to play through a second or third time, though, just to see how different choices play out, you could probably get that done in three or four hours if you’re blasting through just to see the story play out a bit differently and aren’t taking your time.

If you’re trying to see every possible ending and outcome, you can certainly extend your playtime into the tens of hours.
