Hades has seemingly popped up out of nowhere to quickly become one of the big Game of the Year contenders for 2020. With its compelling gameplay loop, stylish visuals, and intriguing story, the game has received both critical and player acclaim since releasing out of Early Access last week for PC and Nintendo Switch. But that’s got people asking is Hades coming to PS4?
Is Hades Coming to PS4?
Currently, Hades is not slated to be coming to PS4 and is only available on PC and the Nintendo Switch.
That being said, Supermassive Games’ titles do tend to find themselves on most platforms eventually, so it may release some time in the future. The Supergiant Games official Twitter account recently replied to a fan asking whether or not Hades would be coming to PS4 by stating the following:
“Hey, we’ve launched v1.0 of Hades only on Nintendo Switch, and PC, and Mac via Steam and the Epic Games Store. We’ll be considering opportunities to bring the game to additional platforms down the line. Thank you for your interest.”
While it’s neither a yes or no confirmation, it does leave the door open to Hades coming to PS4. Given its highly positive reception, and having already sold 1 million copies, we’d say there’s a fairly good chance it will come to Sony’s system in the near future.
As soon as we hear any official announcement regarding a Hades PS4 port, we’ll update this post and let you know.
