Aesthetics are a big part of many a loot-based game’s appeal, and Godfall is no exception. There are new weapons to obtain, and new suits of armor – known as Valorplates – to add to your collection. Figuring out how to do so, however, can be easier said than done, which is why we’re here to walk you through how to unlock Valorplates in Godfall.
How to Unlock Valorplates in Godfall
Unlocking Valorplates in Godfall is fairly easy to do, if a bit time-consuming.
First, look around the Sanctum in-between missions. The Valorplates will be visible around the area, and you can examine them by pressing the Circle Button on PlayStation 5 or the B Button on Xbox Series X to find out what you need to unlock each one. Typically, they’ll require 5 Valorplate Cores and 50 of one of the game’s resources.
Both can be earned by completing missions and defeating enemies for drops, so all you really need to do from there is play the game. Once you have enough of the necessary resources to unlock your Valorplate of choice, you can then head back to the Sanctum, interact with the armor set and unlock it.
From there, you’ll be able to equip it at your leisure. It’s worth noting, though, that you can’t mix and match different parts of Valorplates in Godfall. You can only equip the full set of armor, and can only customize elements of said armor’s cosmetics.
That’s all there is to it really. It’s a pretty straightforward process, and you shouldn’t have any trouble with it after some practice.
Hopefully this cleared up how to unlock Valorplates in Godfall. For more on the game, check out our other guides on topics like whether or not there’s multiplayer and how to parry.
