How to Unlock Goliath Event in Forza Horizon 4 & Get the Achievement
Here’s everything you need to know about how to unlock the Goliath event in Forza Horizon 4.
Forza Horizon 4 is the latest entry in the racing series. Playground Games has created a world full of races and events to complete, but not all of them will be given to you at the start.
Players will need to work their way up the Horizon festival standings by completing different types of races throughout the map. Dirt, drag, cross country, and road races all offer something unique and will all require different tactics to complete.
Completing races in each of those categories will further unlock more races of the same category for players to enter.
This is the main chunk of the game’s story progression and will offer the bulk of the racing experience. The Goliath, however, is an entirely different beast.
The Goliath event is a 24 mile long race, and the longest in the entire game. In order to unlock it, players will need to do some serious grinding.
Once players reach level 20 in the Road Racing series, The Goliath event in Forza Horizon 4 will be unlocked. This requires replaying the races you’ve already completed in the series in order to boost your level high enough.
Once you’ve unlocked this event, you will need an S2 car in order to compete in it. Therefore, either upgrade one of your existing cars to that level, or pick one up from the auto show.
There’s a very strong chance that, if you’ve made it this far, you already have a wide variety of cars and it will just be a matter of picking one you feel the most comfortable driving 24 miles in.
However, if you’re looking for a new car for the Goliath event in Forza Horizon 4, try gathering some of those hidden cars found in the barns around the map.
They offer some of the most unique and powerful cars in the game. You will be prompted throughout to game to search certain areas for these cars. Simply check back each new season for the seasonal barn finds scattered around the map.
Once you’ve completed this beast of a race, you will unlock the “Reaping the Rewards” achievement. You’ll also be one step closer to earning all the achievements Forza Horizon 4 has to offer.
