What an ATK Is in Fortnite & What it Stands For

One of the Fortnite Season 5 week 4 challenges requires players to jump through five flaming hoops scattered around the map either in a shopping cart or an ATK. While a shopping cart may be fairly easy to find, they aren’t the easiest things to build some momentum up on in Fortnite. As such, the easiest way to complete this challenge is with the help of an ATK, but this has confused some players who aren’t sure what this abbreviation stands for, or just what an ATK is in general. Well, we’re here to clear things up for you.

ATK stands for All-Terrain Kart in Fortnite. They’re essentially those little golf cart-looking vehicles you’ve probably seen people driving around in, drifting for boost, or jumping really high off the bounce pad roof. Or maybe you’ve just seen a whole crew riding around in one in a game of Squads and decided to hide in a bush. We don’t blame you, don’t worry.

We’ve included an image of an ATK below, just in case you’ve yet to see on when playing Fortnite Season 5.

If you’ve been having some problems finding an ATK in Fortnite, we’ve got a guide to help you out with just that.

The confusion surrounding these vehicles in Fortnite is likely due to the fact it was only added into the game at the start of Season 5, which kicked off four weeks ago. As such, some players simply may not have known they were a thing, or had seen one and simply didn’t realize they were an actual drivable vehicle, and not just some fun decoration.

That’s all you need to know regarding the ATK in the game. With a bit of luck, you’ll be all set to take on that flaming hoops challenge, and then you can get the Week 4 Secret Star, too!
