How to Get the All Terrain Kart in Fortnite Battle Royale & What it Does

Recommended Videos

Following the in-game teases of the last few weeks, Season 5 has finally arrived in Fortnite Battle Royale, bringing with it a couple of new locations, a new Battle Pass for you to work through, and a whole host of new challenges. On top of those expected new features, and the fixes that come with most patches, a new rideable kart, called the All Terrain Kart, has been added to the game. Here’s everything you need to know about how to get it in the game, and what it does.

Called ATK for short, the new feature has room for your entire squad, allowing you to roam the newly updated map with a helpful roof above your head. Not only do you get a speed boost after drifting, but the All Terrain Kart’s roof acts as a bounce pad. Simply get out, jump on the roof, and launch yourself into the air. You can also jump the Kart itself by working together with your squad mates. As you move along, everyone in the Kart needs to pull back on the left thumbstick, or hold S if you’re playing on PC, and release it at the same time. Doing so will see the Kart hop, allowing you to jump over obstacles. The better your timing is, the higher the jump will be.

As for where you can find the All Terrain Karts, as far as we know, you simply have to hunt for them, because they spawn randomly on the map, much like Llamas. If we find a sure fire location, however, we’ll let you know. We found one in the south east part of Paradise Palms, just behind the houses. You can check out the image above so that you know what to look out for.

That’s all you need to know about what the All Terrain Kart does in Fortnite Battle Royale, and where you can get it. For more tips, tricks, and information, be sure to check out our Season 5 wiki.
