How to Get the Wizard’s Scroll in Forager and What it Does

Available after obtaining the Expert Scrolls skill, the Wizard Scroll allows you to turn resources around you into animals. This is useful when you need to create a stockpile of materials gained from animals like meat, hides and milk.

However, obtaining the Expert Scrolls skill is only the first step to obtaining this useful item. To get your hands on it, you’ll also need to fulfill these other requirements.

What You Need to Do to Get a Wizard Scroll

In addition to the aforestated Expert Scrolls skill, you’ll also need the Inscription skill. This will allow you to build an Inscription table from 10 Wood and nine Bricks, which you’ll need to craft the scroll and the necessary materials to make it.

This is fairly easy to obtain. All you have to do is play through the game until you earn a level up, granting you a skill point. Once you have it, use it to unlock the Inscription skill.

From there, you can focus on obtaining the materials needed to make a Wizard Scroll: Five Paper, five Purple Pigment and five bottled Deathmoth.

Paper can be made at an inscription table with five Wood and five Flowers; meanwhile, Purple Pigment can be made out of two Beets, two Nightshade and two Lavender.

Getting Bottled Deathmoths is a bit simpler, at least after you’ve discovered a Fire Biome. Head over to the area, track down a Deathmoth and use an empty bottle to capture it. Repeat this five times and you’ll have the required amount.

From there, you’ll have everything you need to make a Wizard Scroll and repeat the process as many times as you’d like.

Hopefully, this cleared up how to get a Wizard Scroll and what it does in Forager. For more on the game, check out our guide on how to get scrolls and what they all do.
