Forager players are probably interested in getting their hands on some scrolls, but what they do and how to get them isn’t exactly spelled out. That’s why we’re here to help with a guide on how to get scrolls and what they do in Forager.
How to Get Scrolls in Forager and What They Do
Granting the player a bevy of boosts and effects, these are a useful tool for most any player. Combat and exploration-minded players can use scrolls that summon powerful attacks, while crafting-focused players can rely on the ones that give instant EXP.
To get them though, players will need to jump through a few hoops first.
What You Need to Do
To get them, players will need to unlock three specific skills: Inscription, Novice and Expert Scrolls. With these, they can craft all six types at an Inscription Table.
As such, players will want to focus on unlocking these three skills first and foremost. Once they have, they can craft an Inscription Table with 10 wood and nine bricks.
Once this is done, they can create their desired item with five paper and a slew of other ingredients depending on its effects.
What Each Scroll Does
To that end, it’s useful to know which does what so that they don’t go gathering materials they don’t need. Each scroll, its effects and the materials needed to make it are listed below.
Sage
- Requires 5x Paper, 5x Green Pigment and 1x Bottled Fairy to craft
- Requires the Novice Scrolls skill to make
- Gives an immediate boost to EXP
Builder
- Requires 5x Paper, 5x Green Pigment and 2x Bottled Torchbug to craft
- Requires the Novice Scrolls skill to make
- Makes all of the player’s nearby structures produce items more quickly for a short period
Druid
- Requires 5x Paper, 5x Green Pigment and 5x Cinderbloom to craft
- Requires the Novice Scrolls skill to make
- Makes plants appear around the player
Wizard
- Requires 5x Paper, 5x Purple Pigment and 5x Bottled Deathmoth to craft
- Requires the Expert Scrolls skill to make
- Turns any items or resources around the player into animals
Miner
- Requires 5x Paper, 5x Purple Pigment and 3x Steel to craft
- Requires the Expert Scrolls skill to make
- Causes rocks and crystals to spawn around the player
Demon
- Requires 5x Paper, 5x Purple Pigment and 10x Demon Horns to craft
- Requires the Expert Scrolls skill to make
- Summons fireballs that shoot off in every direction around the player
