How to Get Blue Z Orbs Fast in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot

In Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, Blue Z Orbs are needed for Gohan and Vegeta to unlock stronger variants of their techniques throughout the game. Like the other two types of common Z Orbs though, they’re readily obtainable throughout almost every area, found in and around bodies of water or earned through winning battles against enemies.

The latter method is the fastest way to earn blue Z Orbs though, so long as you fulfill a few requirements.

First, progress the game to the point where Goku is revived with the Dragon Balls during the Saiyan saga. After this point, you’ll gain access to the Community of the Gods Community Board led by Mr. Popo’s Soul emblem. When upgraded, the board increases the amount of Z Orbs you earn from battle by up to 20 percent.

Go to this new Community Board, and add whichever Soul Emblems are best suited to it. A few examples would be Kami and King Yema, with Kami connected to Popo and Yema connected to Kami for bonuses.

This will boost your total Z Orbs earned by a noticeable amount. Then, all you have to do is fight enemies, primarily those found in main or story missions.

Time needed: 2 hours

So, to recap how to get Blue Z Orbs fast in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot:

  1. Play through the game up to the point where Goku is revived with the Dragon Balls during the Saiyan saga.

This marks the point where you unlock the Community of the Gods Community Board.

  2. Upgrade the board with Soul Emblems

With Popo at the center, Kami to Mr. Popo and King Yema to Kami.

How to Collect Z Orbs in the Over-World Fast

If you’d rather avoid combat, you can still collect Blue Z Orbs in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot fairly quickly by exploring the over-world.

As mentioned above, Blue Z Orbs appear above or in bodies of water found throughout the game’s world.

While you could and should collect any of these orbs you see while flying over any lakes or oceans, there are a couple of areas, in particular, you can go to in order to get a load of Blue Z Orbs fast.

One is the Southeast Islands Area. Being a series of islands in a vast expanse of ocean, there are tons of Blue orbs up for grabs between and below the islands.

The other is West City. The metropolitan area has a large body of water to its Southwest, and though not many Orbs are visible above the surface, there’s a veritable treasure trove below the waves.

There’s likewise a massive Blue Z Orb worth 100 units in a fountain within the city, which respawns along with every other orb anytime you leave and re-enter the area.
