Destiny 2 Shadowkeep brings a whole host of new content and features to the popular looter shooter. Outside of new things to see and do, there are some new gameplay additions as well, like the Finishing Move. Of course, if you’re hopping into the expansion you’re probably wondering how to do a Finishing Move in Destiny 2 Shadowkeep. We’re here to help.

How to Do a Finishing Move in Destiny 2 Shadowkeep

Before you can actually use a Finishing Move, you’ll need to unlock it. In order to do this just head to Banshee at the tower to unlock your Finishing Move, and the game will direct you to the character screen where it’s located.

Now while you’re out fighting, you’ll need to bring an enemy to critically low health, about a third of their overall health. Once you’ve done that you’ll see a white marker appear next to this body.

At this point you need to hit the correct button in order to execute the move. You can see the inputs in the table just below.

PlayStation 4R3 (click the right stick)
Xbox OneR3 (click the right stick)
PCC (default controls)

That’s it, now you execute a flashy finishing animation with some serious style.
