Destiny 2‘s Black Armory update is out, kicking off the Season of the Forge, and with it there is now a host of new quest and objectives that will lead to some of the most powerful weapons and equipment in Destiny to-date.  One of these objectives is getting powerful enemy kills. Here’s the best way to get lots of powerful enemy kills fast & easy, and the best farming locations.

First, you’ll need to know what a powerful enemy is. These are enemies with orange bars, aka Majors or Ultras. Unless the objective specifically says you need a particular race, any alien you fight should count for it.

By far, the best way to get powerful enemy kills quickly in Destiny 2, especially if you’re going for the Black Armory objectives is to head on over to Escalation Protocol on Mars.

While you might get lucky with other events, Escalation Protocol is guaranteed to eventually start dishing out hordes of powerful enemies that you can kill. Doubly good for Hive-based objectives as well.

Whether you just need powerful enemies in general, or are doing it for the power weapon multikills, Mars is the best place to be.

Otherwise, if you don’t want to do that, or can’t, the next best place to is to go do public events. Heroic public events in particular have a penchant for spawning lots of powerful enemies.

One that is effective in particular is the Vex Construction public event. Once it’s gone heroic, it will spawn hordes of powerful Vex you can kill.

Besides public events, you could also go for strikes too. The Vex-based strikes on Mercury, especially A Garden World, tend to have large pockets of orange bars, but again, we still believe that public events, especially Escalation Protocol is the way to go.

But if you want to multitask something else, strikes are definitely an option.

That does it for how to get powerful enemy kills fast & easy in Destiny 2 for the Black Armory update. Be sure to check out our wiki guide for more tips and tricks on the latest Destiny 2 updates.
