A multikill in Destiny 2 is whenever you kill two or more enemies at the same time, so it should be pretty simple with the variety of power weapons that are in the game. You’ll be able to work towards this by using any of the Rocket Launchers, Grenade Launchers, or Swords that are available to you.
What you’ll want to do when chasing power weapon multikills is begin an event that sends large groups of enemies rushing towards you at any one time. It’s the waves of enemies that are close together than you’ll want to aim for.
The best place to get power weapon multikills quickly is Escalation Protocol on Mars. This event will contentiously spawn waves of enemies at you that you can quickly wrap up power weapon multikills from provided you have the ammo to sustain it. Be sure to throw on Power Ammo Finder armor to keep up! Swords are pretty effective here as you can just swath through the Thrall fast.

Aside from that if you don’t have access to Escalation Protocol or don’t want to do it, events such as Public Events and Strikes are great because they give you chance to face those large groups, one after another. The best thing to do is to equip a rocket launcher and back off from where most of the enemies are, giving you the ability to control your aim and keep you safe from explosions.
You can then fire the missile, or grenade if you’re using a grenade launcher, towards the group of enemies. With any luck, you’ll take out a couple of guys with each round. Simply repeat this for however many times you need for the objective.
When it comes to which event to select, it depends on the enemy you’re after. If Hive are your target, the Savathun’s Song Strike or the Summoning Ritual Public Event are good choices as they’ll see you face a decent number of enemies in a short space of time.
