Is the Crucible Not Working in Destiny 2?

Recommended Videos

With Destiny 2 officially launching today, players on both the PS4 and Xbox One will be busy leveling up their light, hunting out exotics, and playing some soccer in the Farm social space. One of the big attractions in the original game was the PvP area, Crucible, and while it’s back in Destiny 2, there seems to be a few issues with it not working.

Some players are currently reporting that they’re unable to join a game in the Crucible. While this might be the case, this doesn’t mean that the Crucible is not working. We’ve tried playing a few games in the Crucible and had no problems, however, matchmaking times do seem to be on the long side. If you simply can’t seem to find a game to join in Destiny 2’s PvP area, simply try again a little further down the line.

It’s highly likely that the servers are being battered by huge amounts of players trying to jump in and face off against one another. Hopefully, in the next couple of days it should settle down and when it does we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know.
