Increase Inventory Size and Carry Capacity in Demon’s Souls

Item burden was easily one of the most annoying aspects of the original Demon’s Souls, and yes, it’s still a thing in the remake. At the start of the game, you’ll only be able to carry up to 100 units, and you’ll soon realize that it fills up extremely quickly.

Once you hit your weight limit, you’ll no longer be able to pick up any items you find. You’ll need to go back to the Nexus and speak with Stockpile Thomas to deposit items into your inventory box before heading back out to explore. That being said, it is possible to increase your inventory size to make things a bit easier on you.

To do this, you just need to spend souls to increase your stamina stat with the Maiden in Black. Not only does this increase your max stamina, which is incredibly useful in combat, it also lets you equip heavier armor and equipment while not impacting your roll, and increases your inventory size.

It’s definitely worth putting a few points into your stamina stat just for those main benefits, and you’ll be increasing your carry capacity along the way as well.

In addition to that, Bluepoint has also added a new feature in the remake to make inventory management more bearable. When you’re out exploring the world, you’ll now be able to send any item in your inventory back to Stockpile Thomas without having to go back to the Nexus.

Simply bring up your menu with the Options button and go to the Inventory tab, select an item, then choose the option that says Send to Storage to free up space. Whenever you’re full up, just send some items back and you’ll be good to go.

That’s all you need to know about how to increase inventory size and carry capacity in Demon’s Souls. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
