Borderlands 3 Tipping Moxxi – How It Works
First off, you’ll need to make sure you’re on the Sanctuary ship. Once you are, make your way to Moxxi’s bar. This can easily be found from the fast travel point by spawning here and heading down the right-hand side of the ship as you face towards the front.
Once inside, simply walk on over to the bar to find a little tip jar. You can tip Moxxi $100 or $1000 depending on how generous you’re being, but you’ll want to tip $1000 each time if you’re interested in getting a secret weapon.
How to Get Deft Hail Secret Weapon Tipping Moxxi in Borderlands 3
Thanks to the community over on Reddit, we now know that Moxxi will eventually reward players for their tipping generosity with a secret weapon.
The Deft Hail is a powerful assault rifle with a nice, vibrant, typically-Moxxi color scheme.
What’s not entirely clear at this moment in time is how much you need to tip Moxxi to unlock it.
Some players are claiming it unlocked at $30,000 tipped in just $1,000 denominations, while others are claiming $25,000, and others $50,000.
As long as you’ve got the money, we’d advise just tipping $1000 whenever you’re back on the Sanctuary and know that you’ll unlock it soon enough.
It’s also worth noting that tipping $100 or $1000 just once will net you the ‘Tips Appreciated’ trophy and achievement.
