How to Get Javelin Clean Wear State in Anthem

Anthem is the latest online multiplayer RPG that allows you to blast around the open world in cool Iron Man-looking suits. The suits you start out with are also pretty grimy-looking. Here’s how to get the Clean Wear State for your Javelin in Anthem.

At the start of the game, once you unlock your first Javelin at Pilot level 2, you’ll be able to choose your Wear State from the Appearance tab at the Forge. However, you’ll notice that your options are very limited, and will stop your Javelin from looking spick and span like it should.

Thankfully, there is a way to make your suit look shiny, and that’s by unlocking the Javelin Clean Wear State in Anthem.

To get Javelin Clean Wear State in Anthem, you must hit level 2 for Freelancer Reputation. We’ve broken down exactly how to do this down below.

How to Increase Freelancer Reputation

There are a few ways to go about increasing your Freelancer Reputation to get the Clean Wear State in Anthem, as listed below:

  • Completing story missions
  • Discovering new areas in the open world
  • Completing World Events
  • Do Freelancer Contracts, obtained from Yarrow in Fort Tarsis
  • Talking to NPCs in Fort Tarsis

Most of the story missions in Anthem will give you a slight boost in Freelancer Reputation, allowing you to inch ever so closer to that Clean Wear State you’ve been pining for.

In addition to that, just exploring the open world (whether through missions or Freeplay) and unlocking new areas will increase your reputation, as will completing World Events, which are marked with purple icons.

However, the best way to get your reputation up and obtaining the Clean Wear State is by completing Freelancer Contracts. Back at Fort Tarsis, you can talk to Yarrow, who will give you Contracts that award you with tons of Freelancer Reputation as you progress through them.

If you’re feeling lazy, talking to NPCs at Fort Tarsis can also give you a slight boost, but this does not apply to every single one.

Just keep playing the game naturally, and you’ll eventually reach Freelancer Reputation level 2, allowing you to unlock the Wear State you want.

That’s all you need to know about how to get the Clean Wear State for your Javelin in Anthem. Be sure to search for Twinfinite or check our Anthem guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
