With Nature Day now underway, Leif is more likely to show up at your island, outside the Resident Services building. His catalog will rotate, but for the most part, you’ll be able to buy flower seeds that aren’t native to your island, as well as shrub starters that can help to beautify the place even more.

Once you have the update installed, keep a lookout for Leif outside the Resident Services building. Whenever he shows up, be sure to talk to him to see what he has for sale. He’ll sell you a single shrub starter for 280 Bells each, or in bulk for 1,400 Bells per five starters.

He usually has at least four different shrubs to choose from, so you can pick the ones you like the best. It’s also worth noting that Leif will buy your clumps of weed at double the price that Tommy and Timmy usually offer.

Once you buy the starters, you can plant them anywhere on your island like regular flowers or tree saplings, and they’ll grow in a couple of days. They can also be dug up with a shovel if you ever need to place them somewhere else on the island.

Shrubs basically function like larger flowers, which can be planted anywhere, and are meant to help decorate and beautify the island as you get more of them.
