Getting Nature Day Rewards in Animal Crossing New Horizons

As of today, April 23, players should be able to download a new free update for Animal Crossing New Horizons, which adds the Nature Day event. While it’s not quite as invasive as the accursed Bunny Day that just passed, this event is definitely more rewarding as you’ll be able to get extra Nook Miles by participating.

After downloading and installing the update, boot up the game and check your mailbox for a letter from Tom Nook informing you of Nature Day. You can then speak with him at the Resident Services (Town Hall) building to get more information on the event.

Bring up your Nook Phone by pressing the ZL button, check the Nook Miles app, then press the + button to see the activities available to Nook Miles+ members.

You do need to be a ‘Plus’ member to take part in Nature Day, which means that you need to at least pay off the initial 5,000 Miles debt at the start of the game and become a homeowner.

From this point on, it’s just a matter of clearing out the activities for Nook Miles+ members in your app. Every so often, a special Nature Day activity will show up there, and the reward will be five times the usual amount of Miles you get for completion, which makes this event a great way for players to farm Miles easily.

The event will run till May 4, so you have a little over a week to rack up all the Miles you can get.

In addition to that, you’ll also want to talk to Tom Nook again in the Resident Services building after you’ve completed your first Nature Day activity. He’ll hand over the DIY Recipe for the hedge, allowing you to craft your own hedges to display around the island.

That’s all you need to know about how to get Nature Day rewards in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
