Pokemon has had its own fair share of spinoffs, but few are as widely loved by fans as Pokemon Snap. Now it looks like the title will soon be hitting the eShop in North America, as a listing appeared on Nintendo’s website with a release date of January 5. The download will cost $9.99, and is compatible with nearly every controller on the Wii U.

For anyone that doesn’t know, Pokemon Snap has you travelling through levels that are on rails, taking pictures of the many Pokemon that inhabit each area. Professor Oak then judges you on the quality of your photos, and selects the best ones. Each area bring a varied climate, and there are 63 Pokemon in total to find and photograph.

Make sure to take a look at everything that was added in Pokemon Go’s holiday event. Also, if you’ve ever wondered what Pokemon may look like as spaceships, well you can see that right here.

Are you going to be picking up Pokemon Snap on Virtual Console tomorrow? Are there any other titles that you feel are still missing from the eShop? Let us know down in the comments.
