Nintendo revealed a ton of information about the Switch tonight during their presentation, including release date, new games, and more. However, after the presentation even more info came out as accessories and games went live on websites. From the looks of things on Nintendo’s website, extra controllers for the Switch are going to cost you a pretty penny.
The official Nintendo Switch site has listed different controllers and accessories for purchase, with prices and all. The Switch Pro controller is going to set you back a little more than the Dualshock 4, at $69.99. The new Joy-Con controllers that attack to the side of the Switch tablet can be bough in single or double packs. One Joy-Con will cost you $49.99, while getting the pair will set you back $79.99. You can also buy an extra Switch dock, with AC adapter and HDMI cable to connect to a TV, for $89.99. Two other accessories popped up with a set of racing wheels for the Joy-Con at $14.99, and a Joy-Con Charging Grip for $29.99
Basically, don’t damage or lose your controllers, because buying a new one will set you back a bit. The Nintendo Switch launches on Mar. 3, 2017 for $299. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be launching the same day, and two different Collector’s Editions were announced for the title.
