Sony Reveals the Most Downloaded PS4 Games of 2016

GOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL!!!
This article is over 7 years old and may contain outdated information

Now that the year is over, it’s time to look back, and for Sony, that means revealing stats for PS4 games. Today, they announced the most downloaded games on both the PS4 and PS3, with Psyonix’s Rocket League taking the top crown for the current gen system. Yes, it came out in 2015, but that certainly didn’t stop people from downloading it and getting in on the car combat action. (Being $20 and being on sale multiple times probably didn’t hurt its chances, either.)

Closing out the top five PS4 games were Battlefield 1, the PS4 version of Minecraft, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, and Tom Clancy’s The Division. For the month of December specifically, Ark: Survivor’s Pack was the most downloaded PS4 game. On the PS3, Minecraft took the lead for 2016, with Last of Us, GTA V, LittleBigPlanet 3, and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare trailing behind.
