This time around it’s Utrecht, Netherlands-based developer Nixxes Software.

While it may not be as well-known as Housemarque or Bluepoint, Nixxes has a long history of supporting other studios with ports or games like Marvel’s Avengers, the Tomb Raider series, the Deus Ex series, and the Hitman series.

You can find the announcement below.

At the moment, we don’t know the role that Nixxes will cover at PlayStation Studios, and if it’ll preserve its dedication to ports.

Sony has been opening to porting its games to PC, starting with Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone, and that certainly appears to be a field in which Nixxes Software’s specific expertise would be well employed.

That being said, this is just my speculation at the moment, so it should be taken with the customary grain of salt.

Of course, you can expect to find more information here on Twinfinite if anything is officially announced going forward.

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality), MMORPGs, and visual novels are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
