You Can Now Mod Cyberpunk 2077 & Play Through With a Full Party of Companions

CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 is meant to be a single-play experience, but if you feel like V’s journey is just a little bit too lonely, or if you’d like a slightly easier romp through Night City, there’s now a mod for that.

Over on Nexus Mods, you can now download a mod and save file that comes with a level 50 male V, who also has the ability to have various companions follow him around while doing quests. The companions are Judy, River, Saul, and Takemura.

Of course, there are some glitches and hiccups that come with the mod. For instance, Saul will always follow you around even when you teleport, while the others won’t. Because of this, the modder recommends that you leave your companions at V’s apartment before teleporting elsewhere.

In addition to that, if you decide that you don’t want them to follow you around any longer, you can do their important side quests to get them to reset. The quests are as follows:

  • Judy: Ex-Factor
  • River: I Fought the Law
  • Saul: Riders on the Storm
  • Takemura: Room 303

Cyberpunk 2077 has a pretty rough launch when it released in December, but CD Projekt Red has since been working to push out patches and fixes to improve the game’s performance across all platforms.
