Immortals Fenyx Rising: How to Get the Glider & Fly

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Immortals Fenyx Rising is a brand new IP and open-world adventure game from Ubisoft, and it takes quite a bit of inspiration from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in how its gameplay system works. It’s also one of the more lighthearted games we’ve seen from Ubisoft in a bit, and it dives into the fantastical elements of Greek mythology. Here’s how to get the glider and fly in Immortals Fenyx Rising.

Getting the Glider in Immortals Fenyx Rising

Just like in Breath of the Wild, Fenyx can get a glider in Immortals Fenyx Rising as well. This is a great tool for traversing the open-world and it lets you get around much quicker instead of just running around everywhere on foot.

Thankfully, the glider is given to you at the end of the tutorial and prologue. After obtaining the wings, simply progress through the story and you’ll eventually meet the strange thief, who tells you to meet him at the Observatory. After the event that transpires there, your wings will be automatically upgraded and allow you to glide around the open-world.

To use the glider, jump off any high point in the game, then press the circle button (or B button on Xbox, and A on Switch) to open it up. You can tap the button again to drop down to the ground, or hold it to dive straight down.

Do be warned that moving around with the glider will consume stamina, and once your stamina bar is completely depleted, Fenyx will drop straight to the ground. If you’re too high up, you’ll die and you’ll need to restart from the last checkpoint.

That’s all you need to know about how to get the glider and fly in Immortals Fenyx Rising. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
