During its Tokyo Game Show livestream, Microsoft started with a message from Xbox division head Phil Spencer.
Spencer talked about the importance of the Japanese market for Microsoft, also including recent statistics about the Japanese market.
He mentions that Microsoft has learned from the past stressing on the fact that Xbox Series X and Series S will launch in Japan day and date with the rest of the world.
We heard that since the launch of Xbox Game Pass in Japan in April, Microsoft has seen more players on Xbox devices in the country than ever before. Xbox Live gaming grew 82% year-over-year in the summer.

Speaking of Microsoft’s new consoles. The Xbox Series X is priced at $499, while the Series S’ price is $299. They will both release on November 10 and pre-orders start tomorrow.
