The house of Xbox took to Twitter, as you can see below, to reveal the form factor of the console and to confirm the $299/£249.99/€299/$379.99 (Canadian) price point.

We also get the promise of “next-gen performance in the smallest Xbox ever.”

According to the tweet, more details will come “soon.”

Update 2: a trailer has been released.

The console will have a custom 512 GB NVME SSD powered by Xbox Velocity Architecture and it’ll be predictably all-digital.

It’ll support 1440p resolution at up to 120 FPS, DirectX Ray Tracing, Variable Rate Shading, and Variable Refresh Rate.

Media playback will be in 4K, and it’ll even upscale games to 4K.

Today the alleged look of the rumored Xbox Series S console has surfaced online, and it certainly looks interesting.

The design was shared by YouTube user Brad Sams, and you can see it above.

A price point at $299 also comes with this alleged leak, which would certainly place the Xbox Series X in a rather competitive position.

Assuming that the leak is genuine, there is no information for now as to when this Xbox Series S may be officially revealed.

Its existence has been rumored for quite a while, and it was semi-confirmed by the packaging of a white Xbox controller a few weeks back.

It’s supposed to be a less powerful version of the Xbox Series X, capable to run the same games, likely at a lower resolution.

As usual, though, you should take all rumors about unannounced products with the customary grain of salt.

For the moment, the only Xbox Series console officially announced by Microsoft is the Xbox Series X, which is coming this Holiday season.
