Chief Financial Officer Alain Martinex made the announcement on the call, also mentioning that both games will be AAA and come from Ubisoft’s “biggest franchises.”

Since they’re coming during the next fiscal year, we can expect them to be released between April 2020 and March 2021.

“We will also release two additional triple-A’s from our biggest franchises.”

Chief Executive Officer Yves Guillemot also promised that the new games will boast very high quality when they release.

“The games we’re coming next year with — the two games we had plus the three games we’re taking from Q4 to the rest of the year — will be of very high quality, well polished, with also very good identity.

We think they will be really well-armed to be strong sellers during the year.”

The news come following the delay of three major Ubisoft games that were supposed to come in this fiscal year, Watch Dogs Legion, Gods & Monsters, & Rainbow Six Quarantine.

One thing is for sure: it appears that fiscal year 2020-2021 might be really crowded with major releases for Ubisoft, assuming that none slides into the next.
