The demo is actually from E3 2019, but it was showcased only behind closed door, which means that this is the first time that the full thing is showcased publicly.

We get to see an entire mission in which we have to solve a water shortage crisis in the city by infiltrating the base of the Renegades, a faction led by the Colonel.

Of course there is plenty of Parkour, on top of the showcase of a few interesting elements like the UV light to kep the zombies at bay, and trust me, we’ll need it.

Yet, the real climatic element in the video is the fact that our choices have really massive consequences for the city, and I mean pretty literally world-changing ones.

If you don’t believe me, just watch the video above until the end, and it’ll likely change your mind.

If you want to learn more about the game, you can check out our preview from E3 (which is based on the same demo) and our interview with Lead Game Designer, Tymon Smektala.

Dying Light 2 will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in early 2020.
