Need for Speed Heat Trailer Shown at Gamescom; Supplementary Mobile App Available to Download

During Gamescom Opening Night Live, some new gameplay was shown off for Need for Speed Heat.

Need for Speed Heat takes place in Palm City, an urban oasis where players can compete in races to earn rewards that are then used to unlock brand-new shiny cars.

Of course, cops rule the city so they’ll be after you and the more they come after you, the higher your heat will go. High heat equals more cops around you to mess up your illegal street races.

It was also announced that a mobile application called Need for Speed Heat Studio will be available on iOS and Android devices today and can be used to enhance your gameplay experience by syncing up to the main game.

You can download it right now to start building and customizing your car which can be placed into Need for Speed Heat.

Need for Speed Heat is set to launch for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on Nov. 8. You can watch the new trailer down below to see what all of the fuss is about:
