This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

Today Bandai Namco made a free demo of its upcoming game Doraemon Story of Season available on the Japanese Nintendo eShop.

The demo lets you try the basic features of the game, which mixes the super-popular anime franchise Doraemon with the gameplay of the Story of Seasons series, which is also known by fans of my generation as Harvest Moon.

If you’re eager to give the game a try, you can download it here. Of course, a Japanese account is required.

In order to advertise the demo, Bandai Namco also released a trailer, which you can enjoy at the bottom of the post.

Doraemon Story of Seasons is published by Bandai Namco and co-developed by Marvelous Entertainment and Brownies.

If you want to see more of the game, you can enjoy another recent trailer, a few more screenshots and artwork of the Japanese release (which will come on June 13 for Switch only), alongside one more trailer, and the first one released for the western version.

The game will release in North America and Europe for Nintendo Switch and PC in fall 2019. It’ll be interesting to see if Bandai Namco will offer a demo in English as well down the line.
