The test will happen in May and will be performed on PS4 and Xbox One.

In order to have a chance to participate in the test, you need to register here. Those who will be selected will be able to create a character, play through the opening segment of the game, and play through an online co-op dungeon.

If you’re unfamiliar with Code Vein (and that would be understandable, considering the prolonged silence), below you can read a brief official description.

“Venture into the land of CODE VEIN and uncover its secrets. Players will be able to craft their own unique character and customize their experience by equipping numerous weapons, items, Skills, and Gifts to accommodate their favorite combat style or gain a competitive advantage against impossible odds. Various A.I. controlled partners will also be on-hand to explore the interconnected world with their own specialized attributes and personalities.”

While the game was supposed to come last year, it was delayed, and we haven’t heard much since besides a piece of artwork in the new year, and a tease about new reveals, which finally have come.

The release windows is still simply “2019” for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but at least now we know that the project is still alive.
