Today marks the beginning of the Reiwa era in Japan, and Kadokawa Games had a small but interesting reveal about its mysterious “Project Stella.”

The reveal came via Twitter from President Yoshimi Yasuda himself, who shared a brand new screenshot showing one of the game’s mecha and provided some information.

First of all, we learn that the team behind God Wars is working on the game “with their full power.” We also hear that new information will be revealed at the “Dai Kansha-sai” (Great Thanksgiving) event in the fall. Lastly, Yasuda-san mentioned that we should look forward to a new start with “Episode Zero.”

If you’re unfamiliar with Project Stella, it’s a strategy JRPG in development for consoles spearheaded by the original developers behind the Front Mission franchise. It’s a  spin-off of Kadokawa Games’ recently shut-down mobile game Starly Girls: Episode Starsia, which featured the evergreen combination of cute girls and mecha action.

We have seen very little so far, and this is just the fourth image that the Tokyo-based developer shares. It certainly looks promising and personally, I can’t wait to hear more about the game.
