When The Swords of Ditto was initially released, we enjoyed the game saying it “draws heavy influences from the Legend of Zelda” and provides a “magnificent blend of genres that is truly enjoyable and unique.”

Luckily, the Mormo’s Curse version of the game comes with everything from the original but with additional content like new areas, quests, items, and enemies.

For anyone unfamiliar with The Swords of Ditto, the Nintendo eShop page for the title includes the following description:

“The Swords of Ditto: Mormo’s Curse is a compact action RPG that creates a unique adventure for each new hero of legend in the relentless fight against the evil Mormo. Explore a delightful but dangerous overworld, brave menacing dungeons, and improve your hero in a charming village, during your quest to overcome the evil that plagues the island. Unleash the mystical Sword of Ditto and grab a co-op friend for an unforgettable adventure filled with delightful characters, extraordinary loot, and heroic battles!”

The run-based nature of this game means that it should be right at home on a portable console like the Switch. Hopefully, when fans are able to get their hands on this port of The Swords of Ditto, it will live up to the standards of last year’s version.
