We get to see Kadokawa Games’ own president and game director Yoshimi Yasuda, writer Shiro Sano, and Monster Designer Takeyasu Sawaki. Incidentally, you may be familiar with Sawaki-san as he is the creator of El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron and The Lost Child.

In the video, they explain the philosophy behind the creation of the game and introduce the traditional Japanese myth and folklore that serve as the base for the story and characters.

The PC version will come with mouse and keyboard support, the ability to rearrange your party with the “formation” feature, and the auto-placement option at the beginning of each battle.

If you already own the game for consoles (God Wars has already been released for PS4, PS Vita, and Switch), you can expect a patch to come at a similar timeframe as the Steam version providing the updated features.

Speaking of time frames, the PC version itself is going to launch in June. At the moment we don’t have a specific release date for the game besides the month.

You can check out the video below. If you’re interested, the Steam listing is already open, and you can find it here.

If you want to see more, you can also check out the previous trailer that came with the original announcement of the Steam release. Back in January, we learned that the title sold 200,000 copies on PS4, PS Vita, and Switch.
