New Just Cause 4 Development Update Gives Us Patch Notes and a Roadmap for Upcoming DLC

Publisher Square Enix and Developer Avalanche Studios have posted a new development update on their blog concerning a new patch for their open-world action-adventure game, Just Cause 4.

For starters, there will be an update rolling out today for PS4 and Xbox One players that includes several enhancements, fixes, and even a clean-up of the customization menu:

“Here are the patch notes for PS4/Xbox One:

  • Performance improvements
  • Water improvements
  • Vegetation improvements
  • New anti-aliasing system
  • New 4K rendering solution
  • Various bug fixes
  • Updated Customization menu
  • Just Cause 3 Rico Skin (Legacy Item)”

*A similar update will be coming to PC players later this week.

The development team also shared a roadmap calendar that shows some of the upcoming content coming to the game, some free and some paid:

And last but not least, starting with the launch of the second DLC pack, there will be a free monthly challenge program that will put your Just Cause 4 skills to the test. Players who complete these challenges will obtain cosmetic rewards for their wingsuit and parachute.

Expect more info on the upcoming DLC and the Monthly Challenges as the content comes closer to launch.

Just Cause 4 is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
