After a cryptic teaser Tweet yesterday, EA has now officially revealed a new upcoming Game Pack for Sims 4 called StrangerVille alongside a trailer. The content is set to launch Feb. 26 on PC & Mac.

The Game Pack is set to add a bizarre new location to the game where players will have to guide their Sim to uncover a dark secret that explains the town’s inhabitant’s behavior.

The trailer showcases the people of StrangerVille seemingly infected with some sort of disease, which is producing some odd side effects. Of course, there local tin hat conspiracist is on hand to help our Sim get to the bottom of things

Precise details on the story are so far suitably mysterious, with EA’s description vaguely suggesting your Sim will need to follow a breadcrumb trail of clues to ascertain what on earth is going on in StrangerVille.

What we do know for certain is that your Sim will be able to outfit themselves with all-new clothes especially for the bomber jacket and distressed jeans, prairie-style dress, and the “super-serious” lab coat.

There’s also the promise of special “equipment” to help them be in two places at once — there’s the whole mysterious thing, again.

You can check out the trailer for yourself below:

There’s no mention on price yet for StrangerVille, but it will certainly require the Sims 4 Game Pack in order to run.

The last notable content update for The Sims 4 was Get Famous, which we enjoyed but didn’t think was essential. You can read our impressions here.
