How to Complete Overtime Challenges in Fortnite

Usually, after 10 weeks of weekly challenges and victory royales being won, a Fortnite season comes to an end and we all dive into whatever Epic has planned for the next season. Not in Season 7, though, as Overtime challenges are introduced for the next two weeks. Here’s how to complete all Overtime challenges in Fortnite.

First off, it’s worth noting that if players complete 13 free Overtime challenges between now and Feb. 27 (the end of Season 7), you’ll get the Fortnite Season 8 Battle Pass for free. With that being said, let’s check out the Overtime challenges.

What the Overtime Challenges Are in Fortnite Season 7

Below, you can check out a screenshot of the Overtime week 11 challenges that are live at the time of publishing. We’ll continue to update this post as and when more of the Overtime challenges are dropped in Fortnite.

Now that we know what these challenges are, it’s time to go through how to complete them all fast and easy so you can snag that free Season 8 Battle Pass.

How to Complete All Overtime Challenges

  • Collect Coins in Featured Creative Islands (15)
  • Search chests or ammo boxes at a motel or an RV park (7)
  • Place Top 15 in Duos with a Friend (3)
  • Deal Damage to Opponents with Assault Rifles or Pistols (500)
  • Regain Health from a Campfire in Different Matches (3)
  • Visit Different Named Locations (10)
  • Search a Supply Drop in Different Matches (2)
  • Revive a Player in Different Matches (3)

Currently, there are only a few Overtime challenges available in Fortnite. These are the ones you’ll need to complete to unlock the additional skins as a Season 7 Battle Pass owner. Hence why we’ve missed those out, as they’re pretty self-explanatory.

The first of the Overtime challenges requires you to collect coins in the various Creative Islands. We’ve found an incredibly fast way of getting all 15 coins in Creative Mode without having to spend ages searching for them. Check out our guide on how to get Creative Mode coins fast and easy.

The next of the Overtime challenges in Fortnite simply tasks you with searching chests or ammo boxes at a motel or an RV park. We’ve marked both of these locations on the map below, so you can quickly and easily make your way to these and begin completing the challenge.

Keep in mind, it’s probably quite busy at these locations at the moment while players are trying to complete the Overtime challenges.

Finally, you’ll need to place top 15 in Duos with a friend in three different games. There’s not a whole lot to say about this one, either. Simply hide if you’re struggling to survive fights until there are only 25-30 players left in a game and you should find yourself in the top 15.
