What the Fortnite Week 4 Challenges Are

The week 4 challenges in Fortnite Season 7 are pretty varied, and so chances are you’re going to need a hand completing a fair few of these. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at what we’re working with for the week 4 challenges.

Fortnite, week 4 challenges, season 7

How to Complete All Fortnite Week 4 Challenges

  • Use an X-4 Stormwing plane in different matches (5)
  • Launch Fireworks (3)
  • Eliminate opponents at Expedition Outposts (3)
  • Stage 1: Destroy chairs (80)
    • Stage 2: Destroy Wooden Utility Poles
    • Stage 3: Destroy Wooden Pallets
  • Deal damage with a pickaxe to opponents (100)
  • Eliminate opponents at Happy Hamlet or Pleasant Park (3)
  • Stage 1: Search the letter ‘O’ west of Pleasant Park
    • Stage 2: Search the letter ‘S’ in Wailing Woods
    • Stage 3: Search the letter ‘M’ in Dusty Divot
    • Stage 4: Search the letter ‘N’ under a frozen lake
    • Final Stage: Visit the NOMS Sign in Retail Row

Of these challenges, there are some pretty straightforward ones. X-4 Stormwing Planes can be found in various places across the map, but you’ll find five every time in Frosty Flights on the west side of the map, so this is the best place to head to in order to complete the first challenge.

As for the firework locations, these are actually pretty much dotted around the perimeter of the map, and are small red and white-colored rockets. Simply head over to them and interact with them to fire them off. We’ll have a guide complete with all fireworks locations for you shortly.

Expedition Outposts, similarly are dotted across the map, but this time you’re looking for small, curved-roofed red buildings. Again, we’ll have a separate locations guide for these Expedition Outposts for you soon.

Next up we’ve got a materials-based challenge. You’ll first need to destroy 80 chairs, followed by wooden utility poles, and finally wooden pallets.

The first and final stages of this challenge are straightforward enough, but if you’re unsure of what the wooden utility poles are, these are essentially the large wooden poles that look like telephone poles dotted around the map.

The next two challenges, dealing damage with a pickaxe to opponents and eliminating opponents at Happy Hamlet or Pleasant Park are straightforward enough.

However, if you are having issues completing these, the best option is to use the Duos, Squads, or LTM modes and pick off downed enemies.

Finally, we’ve got one more ‘staged’ challenge in Fortnite’s week 4 challenges. This one tasks you with seeking out different letters in different named locations before visiting the sign in Retail Row itself. Once again, we’ve got a complete guide of the ‘O’ ‘S’ ‘M’ and ‘N’ letter locations here.

Once you’ve complete all of the week 4 challenges, you’ll be unlock the loading screen and have the chance to get the week 4 secret banner, too.
