How to Get Adamantite Fast and What It’s For in Kingdom Hearts 3

Kingdom Hearts 3 has finally been officially released, and this entry allows you to power up Sora in more ways than one. Adamantite is one of the rare synthesis materials you’ll need to strengthen your Keyblades, so here’s how you can get Adamantite in Kingdom Hearts 3.

Getting Adamantite in Kingdom Hearts 3

  • Can be farmed with the Gummi Ship in Misty Stream and Eclipse
  • Can be found in treasure chests in San Fransokyo

Once you reach the Misty Stream in Kingdom Hearts 3, which is the second major zone you’ll unlock with the Gummi Ship, you’ll be able to start farming for Adamantite.

As you progress through the game, you’ll eventually be given the opportunity to visit San Fransokyo, where you can open up hidden treasure chests to get a chunk of Adamantite. However, if you happened to miss out on the chests, there’s another, albeit slower, way you can obtain them.

Similar to how you could farm Fluorite in the Starlight Way, shooting asteroids in the Misty Stream with your Gummi Ship also gives you a small chance of obtaining Adamantite. The drop rates are much lower than Fluorite and Damascus though, so you might have to farm for a while if you need a large quantity of Adamantite for upgrading.

However, if you wait till you unlock the Eclipse zone in the game, the asteroids there will have a slightly higher chance of giving you the drop you want.

You can spawn into the zone from any of the worlds in the Misty Stream, then start shooting at the space rocks.

What Adamantite Is For

Similar to Fluorite and Damascus, Adamantite is a synthesis material that’s used for upgrading your Keyblades in Kingdom Hearts 3. It’s a higher tier item than the first two, so naturally, it’ll be much rarer and harder to find.

In order to upgrade your Keyblade, just head to any of the Moogle Shops and select the Workshop option. Then choose Keyblade Forge, and you’ll be able to upgrade your desired Keyblade from there, provided you have the materials to do so.

And that’s all you need to know about how to get Adamantite in Kingdom Hearts 3. Be sure to check our Kingdom Hearts 3 guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.

TLDR;

Question: How do you get Adamantite in Kingdom Hearts 3 and what is it used for?

Answer: It can be farmed by shooting asteroids in the Misty Stream and Eclipse zones. It’s used for upgrading your Keyblades at the Moogle Shop.
