New Super Mario Bros. U is getting a new chance at success on the Nintendo Switch with the slightly-altered title New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, and today the Japanese arm of Nintendo released a new trailer.

To be more precise, the trailer appears to include two TV commercials merged together in one longer video. The first mixes live-action with gameplay, showing a lot of Japanese people jumping around.

The second is a more traditional commercial, focusing on gameplay. We also get to see the remastered visuals of the game, polished up to run on PlayStation Switch, hence “Deluxe.”

This fresh coat of paint was announced back in September, and it will release exclusively on Nintendo Switch on Jan. 11, 2019.

You can check out the video below, and see if it entices you to go back and try this game again on the new console, assuming that you got it on Wii U when it released in 2012.

If you didn’t, it’s certainly a good chance to try it out. The “Deluxe” series of remasters has certainly done well for Nintendo So far, and this is likely to be another hit, especially considering that the Switch doesn’t have very big releases in January.
